Business Development Role

A prominent international food company seeks an experienced Business Developer to join their Retail Business Development Team in North Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sales targets, securing new business, and ensuring the consistent delivery of a top-tier customer experience in a high-value area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Manage and develop new and existing retail accounts to drive business growth and expand current offerings.
  • Operator Training: Train and develop operators handling the company's portfolio to ensure excellent execution of products across the territory.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service with strong product and industry knowledge to build strong relationships and boost sales growth.
  • CRM Maintenance: Maintain accurate CRM data for internal use, field management, and analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as National and Key Accounts, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service to meet shared goals.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience within retail and/or foodservice sectors.
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills and customer-centric solutions.
  • Financial acumen to analyze and interpret sales data for better decision-making.
  • Passionate about food and retail, with a hands-on sales approach.
  • Excellent communication skills tailored to different audiences.
  • Consistently achieving results under challenging circumstances.
  • Full valid driving license.
