Job Title: Second Line Business Partner

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the second line technology risk and information security business partnership relationship with various entities, driving strategic decision-making and oversight of technology and cyber security risks. They will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement a vision for second line support, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

The role will involve providing expert advice on risk management, communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and establishing thought leadership in technology risk management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in technology domains such as information security, cloud technology, or SDLC, and proven track record in leading technology risk and security areas in large complex corporations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing influential leadership in developing and communicating clear long-term visions for second line oversight of technology risk and information security.
  • Offering expert advice to support risk-based decision-making and alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels and establishing thought leadership in technology risk management.
  • Developing strategies and plans to address significant technology and information security risks.
  • Collaborating with leadership to develop aligned strategies and cultivate senior-level relationships internally and externally.
  • Reporting on the current state of technology and information security risk management and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Undertaking independent reviews and providing analysis on emerging threats and cyber events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of risk management frameworks, particularly in technology, security, and resilience operations.
  • Strong expertise in at least one technology domain such as information security, cloud technology, technology infrastructure, or SDLC.
  • Proven track record in leading technology risk and security areas in large complex corporations.
  • Familiarity with compliance, regulatory matters, and European regulatory trends.
  • Experience presenting to Business Executives, Boards, and Regulators.
  • Strategic thinker capable of implementing technology risk and cyber security vision aligned with organizational needs.
  • Experience using market trends and technology innovation for practical applications.
