Strategic Corporate Tax Leader Sought

The position of Corporate Tax Director is available in our dynamic tax team. As a result of the continued growth of the firm, this role offers opportunities to become a leader in the firm's fast-growing corporate tax business and contribute to the development of technical knowledge.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing client relationships, delivering solutions to clients on complex matters, building and supporting teams. They should also be a strong business developer with experience in a management role in a tax practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, technically sound, clear and concise tax advice covering a range of technical issues relevant to your client's business risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Manage a portfolio of complex corporate clients (predominantly internationally focused businesses).
  • Work with partners on delivering advisory projects, including M&A, due-diligence, IP planning, and reorganization assignments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide a high standard of client service.
  • Deliver the Company's service offerings to clients in developing international tax strategies.
  • Work closely with the partners and directors in tax and other service lines to go out to market and support the business development activities in the Irish market.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other Company member firms on cross-border projects and business development initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of technical knowledge and training of staff.
Requirements:
  • Hold ITI and ACA/ACCA qualifications.
  • Have excellent experience in a management role in a tax practice.
  • Possess comprehensive corporate tax technical knowledge and experience.
  • Have a proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.
  • A proven track record in business development and converting relationships into fee-paying work.
  • Be self-motivated and capable of leading a team.
  • Be a team player with strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
