**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Support Worker to join our team in Limerick. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of adults with disabilities.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team within the adult day service, facilitating daily programs and supporting service owners with their personal care needs, mobility, and access to services in the community and on our virtual day service.

As an Adult Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to encourage and support individuals in developing their skills, training, employment, and inclusion in their local communities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist with personal care needs and mobility
  • Support access to services in the community and on our virtual day service
  • Encourage and support opportunities for skill development, training, employment, and inclusion

**Requirements:**

  • QQI Level 5 in Care Skills or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum one year's experience working with adults with disabilities
  • Holds a full clean driver's license with no restrictions and is willing to drive Enable Ireland vehicles
  • Effective communication skills and good recording practices
  • Knowledge of social model of disability
  • Good understanding of Adult Protection and Lone Working
