Network Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network equipment, security policies, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, plan, and configure network equipment to meet organizational requirements and industry standards.
  • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, UPS systems, and other hardware.
  • Independently design and deploy network setups.
  • Package and ship configured equipment to remote sites when required.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues and outages promptly.
  • Enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Perform regular network maintenance, including software updates and patches.
  • Implement and optimize network infrastructure to support business needs.
  • Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams and layouts.
  • Manage network monitoring tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
  • Prepare reports on network performance, security, and utilization.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience implementing Cisco LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Applied knowledge of network hardware, protocols, Internet standards, the OSI model, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience in Data Center environments, Nexus Switching, and F5 load balancing is desirable.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and SD-WAN deployment is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent certifications.

  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global team-oriented environment.
  • Capacity to analyze root causes, develop remediation plans, and implement solutions.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to stay updated on evolving networking technologies.
  • Ability to present technical concepts in user-friendly language.
