Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will oversee day-to-day operations and assume full responsibility in their absence.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing kitchen operations to ensure efficient service and high food quality
  • Maintaining cost control and inventory management
  • Ensuring stock rotation, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef on menu planning, pricing, and costing
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a busy kitchen environment
  • NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent qualification
  • Intermediate Food Safety Certificate
