We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team, reporting to the Head of Technical Accounting. Key responsibilities include providing timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting month end processes, regulatory returns, and internal Allianz Group reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working under different accounting regimes, managing work assignments independently, and defining and solving problems independently.
Key requirements include relevant working experience in the financial services sector, preferably with Big 4 audit firms or re-insurance companies, and excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
This role offers opportunities to grow and develop in the field of reinsurance and work on diverse projects within the Allianz group.
Job Description:- Work under different accounting regimes: IFRS and Solvency II
- Manage work assignments independently from start to completion
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Relevant working experience in the financial services sector
- Big 4 audit firms or re-insurance companies preference given
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- SAP knowledge favored, Solvency II strongly preferred
