Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team as a Principal Engineer, working on bridges and structures projects in Dublin and Cork.
Responsibilities: As a key member of our team, you will support the transition to a solutions provider, transforming how we deliver through the implementation of new technologies and lean, digital processes. You will utilise your highly developed technical engineering, interpersonal and organisational skills in supporting the delivery of structural solutions on highways, rail, aviation, energy and power projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor teams on tasks such as structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender designs, detailed designs and the production of contract documents and technical reports.
- Use your knowledge and skills to lead a team and other disciplines in providing an integrated service to clients.
- Proactively identify and implement innovative solutions through leveraging data, automation, lean and standardization to improve efficiency/productivity and project outcomes.
- Ensure project delivery excellence, commercial or technical, or both depending on role (i.e. delivery to time, budget and quality).
- Work with our UK, Ireland and Global Integrated Delivery teams to best use our resources and ensure efficient and successful delivery.
