Scientific Services Manager

As a senior laboratory professional, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert scientific support to our clients, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Manage team workload and service levels, ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and documentation of laboratory instruments.
- Train and mentor new team members, developing their skills and providing cover for service tasks.
- Coordinate the team to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Degree in Chemistry or Biology-related subject.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role and within the pharmaceutical sector is essential.
- IT literacy, proficiency in Excel and SAP is preferred.
- Technical troubleshooting capabilities and experience handling high-pressure tasks.
- Problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and people-first attitude.
