Memory Walk Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers to participate in our Memory Walks on Sunday mornings.

  • Our role is to support participants and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

The event takes place at the Greenway at Carriganore near SETU Arena. The minimum time commitment is 2 hours once off, and we ask that you be punctual and reliable.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on event experience, develop new skills, and build community connections. You will also receive a certificate of appreciation and enjoy the personal fulfilment of making a real difference.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support participants during the event
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all
  • Communicate effectively with event staff and participants
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be over 16 years old and have basic English skills. You will also need to undergo Garda vetting and informal interviews.
