Job Description

As a Plumbing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the plumbing operation in your branch. Your primary objective is to drive sales of all products, develop new business, and service our existing customer base while ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the plumbing department, including buying, stock levels, and margins.
  • Achieve sales and margin targets.
  • Maintain health and safety awareness, ensuring that company regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Develop the plumbing department, focusing on growth and expansion.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
  • Ensure employees are appropriately trained to deal with customers.
  • Be responsible for all equipment and conduct regular stock checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Substantial experience working within the plumbing industry.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen.
  • Ability to reach and exceed sales targets.
  • Health and safety compliance experience.
  • People management experience is desirable but not essential.
