We are seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day activities of our hotel. This is a pivotal role that demands a high level of expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a customer-centric approach.
About Us
The Ardilaun Hotel is a luxurious 4-star property nestled in a serene setting just a kilometer from Galway City, Galway Bay, and Salthill. Our hotel boasts 123 luxury bedrooms, a state-of-the-art conference center, wedding venue, and leisure club facilities.
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Foster a welcoming environment for guests by promoting excellent service standards.
- Address guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Ensure staff adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual and hotel policy.
- Direct the team in all operational departments in their daily duties.
- Provide a strong presence on the floor with a hands-on approach.
- Assist the Head of Department to continually improve procedures and systems.
Professional Requirements and Experience:
- Proven experience in hotel management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and customer service principles.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including late nights, early mornings, and weekends.
