Quality Assurance and Control Professional

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Control Professional to ensure that quality standards are consistently met across our mechanical and electrical installations.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and a strong understanding of quality control practices on M&E projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and method statements tailored to project-specific scopes.
  • Implement and manage stage tagging and hold-point processes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure phased sign-offs.
  • Lead first-of-a-kind (FOAK) benchmarking activities to establish reference standards for new technologies and systems.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, oversee QA checks, and lead client walkdowns to ensure compliance and sign-off at each stage.
  • Maintain all quality records, including checklists, NCRs, punch lists, test reports, and sign-off sheets.
  • Provide regular updates on quality performance, issues, and resolutions to project and senior management.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and codes.
  • Review and approve subcontractor QA documentation and ensure their work meets required standards.
  • Incorporate lessons learned into quality systems to continually enhance performance and reliability across projects.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Demonstrated QA/QC experience on mechanical and electrical construction projects, ideally in renewable energy or decarbonization sectors.
  • Familiarity with first-of-a-kind project delivery, stage tagging, and structured walkdown processes.
  • Working knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001, IEC codes, and relevant M&E installation guidelines.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing inspection plans and managing document control workflows.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Auditor qualifications or quality certifications (e.g., CQI, IRCA, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are advantageous.
