Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. As a Technical Account Manager for AWS Enterprise Support, you'll play a critical role in helping customers achieve their business objectives by leveraging our robust suite of products and services.

As a Technical Account Manager, you'll be responsible for developing trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs, and identifying opportunities to drive growth and innovation.



About the Role



  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers, to ensure seamless delivery of customer projects.
  • Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of AWS services and products, staying up-to-date on the latest features and innovations.
  • Provide expert-level support to customers, troubleshooting complex technical issues and escalating as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell AWS services, driving revenue growth and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of customer projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs.


About You



  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in a cloud computing environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in at least two of the following areas: compute, storage, networking, databases, DevOps, big data analytics, security, or applications development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of success in a customer-facing role, with experience in sales, account management, or technical consulting.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and products, with a strong desire to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest features and innovations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in German, both written and spoken.
