Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Ports team as part of our multidisciplinary Offshore Design and Advisory Group. As Head of Department, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing teams, and delivering high-value services to clients in the offshore wind and marine infrastructure development sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Spearhead work acquisition and client relationship management, focusing on offshore developers, financiers, port operators, supply chain, and tier 1 contractors.
  • Team Delivery: Ensure department project delivery with the team, adhering to quality standards, program, and cost. Act as a lead consultant and advisor to clients, taking a senior role in supporting management of projects.
  • Leadership & People Management: Manage people development and growth, resourcing, department utilization, and recruitment.
  • Commercial: Participate in client sales acquisition, relationship management, and ensuring departmental projects are delivered to budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in leading teams and driving business growth in the offshore wind and marine infrastructure development sectors.
  • Strong understanding of client needs, market trends, and commercial drivers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality services and meeting deadlines.
