The Diagnostic Imaging Department is seeking a highly skilled Radiographer to fill a maternity cover role. As a member of our team, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality radiography services to patients.
About the Role:
This position offers opportunities for cross-training and professional development under the leadership of an experienced Radiology Manager dedicated to innovation and excellence. You will contribute to out-of-hours services as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate daily in the general radiography service, actively engaging in training for upskilling and professional development.
- Maintain exceptional standards in patient care and radiographic techniques, ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles and statutory directives.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment and report any equipment faults to the designated supervisor.
- Develop IT skills to analyse and present data for departmental meetings as required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Diploma/Degree in Radiography.
- Be registered with CORU.
- Have knowledge of the RIS system and experience with on-call services.
