Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive hospital setting, prioritizing patient care and staff development.

The role involves providing high-quality radiography services to patients, adhering to professional standards of practice. You will participate in daily general radiography services, engaging in training for upskilling and professional development.

About This Role:

The Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a service to both inpatients and currently offers General and Emergency Radiography, CT, Fluoroscopy, and Ultrasound services.

The successful candidate will work under the leadership of an exceptional Radiology Manager dedicated to innovation, excellence, and supportive leadership.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong foundation in radiography, with a focus on patient care and safety.

You will be required to maintain high standards in patient care and radiographic techniques, ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles (justification, optimization, ALARA, and dose limits).

A valid qualification in radiography is essential, as well as experience working in a hospital setting.

Please note that this is a maternity contract position, but there may be opportunities for longer-term employment.
