Job Title: Advanced Analog and RF Layout Professional

Overview

As a Lead AMS/RF Layout Engineer, you will work collaboratively within a cross-functional team to design and develop the next generation of products from conceptualization to volume production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Analog/RF Design Engineers to create and optimize complex RF and mixed signal blocks.
  • Utilize industry best practices to produce high-quality RF/Analog systems through meticulous layout and physical verification.
  • Take ownership of top-level/SOC designs and block-level layouts, ensuring comprehensive floor planning.
  • Conduct detailed verification and debugging from block level to top level.
  • Lead and document layout design reviews.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Possess at least 10 years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of analog/mixed-signal layout on advanced CMOS nodes (40nm and lower).
  • Have a strong working knowledge of the Cadence Virtuoso suite and Calibre verification tools.
  • Understand critical issues such as LDE, isolation, matching, parasitic effects, EM, and IR drop.
  • Proficient in verification checks (DRC/LVS).
  • Exhibit strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Experience with high-frequency RF designs is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in writing Skill code is an asset.

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team but also independently on complex tasks.
  • Will mentor junior layout engineers and guide layout contractors.
  • Help drive continuous productivity improvements through optimized workflows, efficient tool use, and effective documentation.
