As an Electrical Estimator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Pricing a wide variety of mission-critical projects in life science, data centre, healthcare and pharma
- Preparing detailed take offs & estimates, taking into account all relevant drawings, specifications & related documentation
- Liaising closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure cost efficiency
The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating electrical packages of work for construction projects. This will involve working closely with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate prices and ensure cost efficiency.
Detailed take offs and estimates will need to be prepared based on project specifications. A handover meeting with operations upon award of successful projects is also a key requirement of this role.
Requirements
- Educational background in Electrical trade or tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar
- 3 years postgraduate experience in the construction sector, pricing electrical packages of work
