At Aviva Ireland, we are seeking a Legal Counsel to play a critical role in providing integrated legal advice to our Life & Pensions business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal support and guidance to various business units
  • Assist the Head of Legal and wider team with risk identification, management, and mitigation
  • Deliver high-quality legal advice and assistance on business initiatives, programs, services, and products
Requirements:
  • Relevant post-qualifying experience (PQEQ) in-house experience in a Financial Services/Regulatory environment or large private practice firm
  • Familiarity with the regulatory landscape is essential; insurance experience is highly desirable but not compulsory
  • Pensions expertise is advantageous, with project experience being highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of influencing effectively
