  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially-minded solicitor to join our expanding in-house legal team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of legal matters.
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and results-driven lawyer to contribute to the growth and success of our business. As part of our dynamic legal team, you will be responsible for providing advice on data protection and privacy matters, including supplier management and contracts.

You will also assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, and general legal documents. In addition, you will conduct legal research and assist in identifying legal risks and mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a qualified Solicitor background with 1-3 years post-qualification experience and a working knowledge of key legislative requirements, including MiFID, the Consumer Protection Code, and the GDPR.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with sound judgment. A commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving are essential for this role.

A commitment to quality with a strong attention to detail is also required. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with external advisors and senior management within the business.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Solicitor status in Ireland with 1-3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Working knowledge of key legislative requirements, including but not limited to MiFID, the Consumer Protection Code, the Investment Intermediaries Act, the GDPR, and the Data Protection Acts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with sound judgment.
  • Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving.
