**Role Overview**

As a Childrens Residential Social Care Leader, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering care packages tailored to individual needs. This leadership position involves supporting colleagues, mentoring staff, and collaborating closely with management to uphold standards and ensure the house runs smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Supervise and support your team during shifts to promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Design and implement Placement and Crisis Management Plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide educational support to children both within and outside of school hours.
  • Engage in direct residential care to address identified needs and provide a safe and supportive living environment.
  • Record and document all client interactions and activities to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, social workers, and external agencies to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, strategic planning, and policy implementation to drive positive change.
  • Monitor health and safety, and ensure compliance across the unit to protect both children and staff.
**Educational Requirements**

A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant field is required, meeting the criteria for registration as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
