Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, as well as supporting the achievement of operational goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical trade, with experience in fault-finding, troubleshooting and repair. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
  • Support the maintenance team in achieving operational goals, through proactive maintenance routines and effective problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with production team members to maximise plant efficiencies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on electrical matters, using technical knowledge and industry expertise.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Trade Qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including on-call weeks.
