Job Title: Supply Chain Director

Overview:

The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize warehouse operations, logistics, and transportation. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including inventory management, forecasting, and distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage a team of logistics professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational issues.
  • Design and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continually improve supply chain operations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Proven track record of success in improving supply chain efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of logistics professionals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma methodology.
  • Certification in supply chain management or related field.
