Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Role Overview:

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism and specialist Occupational Therapy assessments. You will use established diagnostic tools to assess clients and write up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, you may be involved in supervising and supporting junior staff members depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism and specialist Occupational Therapy assessments.">
  • Using established diagnostic tools to assess clients.">
  • Writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner.">
  • Providing appropriate recommendations and interventions.">
  • Supervising and supporting junior staff members (if required).">

Requirements:

">
  • BSc in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification.">
  • Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.">
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/Specialist developmental assessments with children.">
  • Current CORU registration.">
  • Experience working with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting.">
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for Autism and learning disability.">
  • ADOS-2/ADI-R trained.">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.">
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.">
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping.">
