Localization Quality Assurance Engineer

Our team is looking for talented individuals to join us as Localization QA Engineers within the consumer electronics area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with innovative software products in a dynamic company culture and be part of cutting-edge technologies.

As a Localization Engineer, you and your team will be responsible for ensuring quality across various software products in your native language.

You will also have the opportunity to share your ideas in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing localization testing on software, print documents, help items, and hardware;
  • Reporting issues found using internal tools, providing pertinent information, and following the solution process to its completion;
  • Analysing international functionality issues;
  • Working cross-functionally with international software QA centers, engineering teams, translators, and project managers to ensure delivery of world-class products to international markets;
  • Any other duties relevant to the role.

Depending on experience, additional responsibilities may include designing, implementing, and organizing manual test plans, creating and maintaining automated test procedures, coding software test automation, and conducting technical software reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Native speaker of the required language and deep knowledge of linguistics;
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and a team player;
  • Self-driven, flexible to work on multiple projects, and with various types of deadlines;
  • A person who enjoys breaking down software to make it better.
