SITE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER ROLE

About this role:

This position is focused on ensuring the smooth operation of M&E equipment across our site, guaranteeing compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with facilities team members to complete planned maintenance tasks.
  2. Ensuring operations of M&E systems are compliant with HSE and statutory standards.
  3. Supervising third-party vendors to ensure safe and quality work execution.
  4. Providing first-line fixes for electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and kitchen power issues.
  5. Performing fabric-related repairs including handyman tasks, painting works, and issues with conference rooms, interior furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
  6. Conducting regular quality audits, logging issues, and ensuring timely completion in line with KPIs and SLAs.
  7. Daily checks in accordance with service delivery commitments.
  8. Working closely with contractors and vendors, conducting risk assessments, following safety protocols, and ensuring compliance.
  9. Utilizing internal task systems to track requested facilities work and close actions according to Service Level Agreements.
  10. Providing timely follow-ups via emails, task systems, social posts, and face-to-face interactions.
  11. Collaboratively solving problems and resolving spontaneous situations with a professional, service-focused approach.
  12. Making recommendations to leverage innovation and technology to enhance site performance and maintenance practices.
  13. Supporting multiservice teams: facilities, events, mailroom, and moves, adds, and changes as required.
  14. Working within health and safety measures, promoting best practice among colleagues, contractors, and vendors.
  15. Promoting sustainability efforts to reduce utility consumption across the site.
About You:

We seek candidates with direct facilities experience (minimum 2 years) in technical roles, holding technical qualifications or trade licenses. Ideal applicants have proficiency using Computerized Maintenance Management systems, can meet tight deadlines, work efficiently, and collaborate effectively to solve problems. A keen interest in facilities management, customer service, and staying updated on industry trends is also desirable.

A candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be open-minded, and strive for excellence in their work while sharing ideas for improvement. Proficiency with Word and Excel is a plus, along with adaptability to handle varied requests and projects daily.
