About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee all aspects of a large-scale project in Mullingar. As a key team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project on time and within set parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all issues surrounding risks, contracts, operations and communications;
  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of the site;
  • Review high-level deliverables across the site;
  • Implement quality assurance procedures in accordance with established methodology;
  • Manage project scope and mitigate risk across projects;
  • Attend Health and Safety meetings with the site team and subcontractors;
  • Ensure that everyone on site is working in accordance with the Health & Safety policy and procedures;
  • Identify and order required materials in a timely fashion in line with the program;
  • Take the lead in ensuring the effective management of performance and budgets;
  • Manage a direct labour workforce and sub-contractors;
  • Work with and manage the site management team.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience);
  • Significant experience on residential projects;
  • Background in residential developments essential;
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards;
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects;
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key;
  • The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated;
  • Collaborative, customer-focused, safety-oriented and innovative approach required.
