**Electrical Design Engineer Role**

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts and customization of existing products. This is a key role that involves collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to achieve project milestones.

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support prototyping, testing, and validation of new products.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including test plans and reports, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support customer meetings and provide end-to-end support throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve build and test issues.
  • Contribute to change management initiatives through research, design reviews, trade studies, and impact analysis.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more design software packages, such as AutoCAD, Pro/E, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with customers, manufacturing, suppliers, and production teams.
  • Results-driven individual with a can-do attitude to ensure solutions are delivered on time.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
