The electrical design engineer will be responsible for working within multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions for new concepts and customized products.

Job Description
  • Liaise with vendors in support of projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Support prototyping for new projects, considering cost, safety, and time constraints.
  • Create relevant documentation, such as test plans and reports, for electrical testing of seats.
  • Support customer meetings as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree or apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering environment.
  • Previous experience with design software packages, such as AutoCAD, ProE, SolidWorks, or Catia.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with customers, manufacturing, suppliers, and production.
  • Results-driven with a can-do attitude to ensure solutions.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts and customized products.
  • Support the engineering team to achieve key milestone dates and work with internal stakeholders to resolve build and test issues.
  • Support change management through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis, and implementation.
