Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparing estimates and pre-construction budgets based on drawings and specifications.
  • Managing quantities, obtaining pricing for building elements, and comparing subcontractor bids using spreadsheets.

This position requires a Quantity Surveying or Estimating background with at least 8 years' experience. Pre-construction expertise is desirable, as is proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QS BQ production software packages such as Buildsoft or CostX.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. We offer a competitive salary package and an equal opportunities employment environment.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to assist in the maintenance of the cost database and regional metrics. This individual must be able to utilise their knowledge of quantity surveying principles to prepare estimates and pre-construction budgets efficiently.
