Senior Wastewater Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wastewater Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Ireland's wastewater infrastructure.

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead and deliver wastewater network projects, including drainage system upgrades, new pipelines, and new/upgraded pumping stations. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets client satisfaction under pressure.

You will be responsible for preparing reports such as feasibility studies, planning reports, site assessments, and technical evaluations. Additionally, you will manage others in the preparation of deliverables such as designs, reports, and contract documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant third-level degree in engineering (Level 7 or higher).
  • Ideal Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a design role.
  • Excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Able to manage and mentor more junior staff.
