**Job Summary**

We are seeking a professional Night Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our hotel during night shifts.

  • This is a key leadership role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all areas run smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Team Supervision: Manage and support the night team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and feedback.
  3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional front desk service, handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  4. Security and Safety: Monitor and maintain security throughout the premises, including regular internal and external patrols.
  5. Event Management: Supervise guest access to late functions, ensuring only authorized individuals are admitted.
  6. Late Night Operations: Oversee activity in late bars and residents' bars, ensuring responsible alcohol service and a safe, controlled environment.
  7. Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to any disturbances, reporting incidents to management or authorities as required.
  8. Closing Procedures: Ensure all function rooms and external access points are secured once events have concluded.
  9. Reporting and Auditing: Complete nightly audits, balance daily transactions, and prepare shift reports for management.
  10. Support Services: Assist with overnight room service, luggage handling, and general guest support.
  11. Cleanliness and Presentation: Ensure the cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of public areas for the following day.
  12. Handovers: Coordinate effectively with day staff during handovers to ensure continuity of operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role (hotel experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Calm under pressure and capable of handling guest issues or emergencies confidently.
  • Comfortable supervising a team.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with hotel systems (training can be provided).
