Financial Operations ManagerJob Description:

As a Financial Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our organisation. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accurate processing of all financial transactions, maintaining good relationships with vendors, and providing technical knowledge as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process financial transactions within established time scales, particularly for Accounts Payable and to a lesser extent Accounts Receivable and Banking.
  • Invoice processing, payment batch generation, payment processing, supplier reconciliations.
  • Reconcile statements and ledgers to resolve queries both internally/externally.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and respond to their queries promptly.
  • Provide technical knowledge on VAT & RCT, etc.
  • Ensure accounts are reconciled appropriately and queries are resolved.
  • Adhere to key procedures, payments and submissions including expenses policy, RCT rules, Revenue reporting, Vendor Payment runs.
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure information is provided as required.
  • Review and Maintain credit card transactions and reconciliation of vendor account balances.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting systems.
  • Appropriate accounting or finance qualifications.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel and Word.
  • Well-organised and able to work under pressure.
  • Able to think ahead and communicate ideas effectively.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to prioritise workload and deliver to agreed standards.
