Senior Continuous Improvement Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement Strategist to spearhead the implementation of our operating system and CI programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and overseeing the site CI programme, ensuring consistency in approach and sharing best practices.
- Driving strategies and initiatives related to CI and lean manufacturing to enhance operational performance.
- Providing functional leadership of CI activity and resources on site basis, working with Operations Team to ensure consistent rollout of CI activity.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience of continuous improvement approaches (e.g. six sigma, lean six sigma, lean manufacturing).
- Demonstrable track record of leading successful delivery of specific continuous improvement projects.
- Experience of leading large-scale CI programmes, including influencing organisational change.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, Excel, Word and PowerPoint to an intermediate level.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- University degree (Bachelor's level) or equivalent.
- Significant experience of CI in a global business environment.
- Experience/training in CI approaches obtained in organisations with a strong CI culture (e.g. Japanese auto company).
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Evidence of ability to deliver impactful training and development programmes.
- Teaching, Training or Adult learning qualification.
