Job Overview

A commercially driven leader is required to oversee commercial activities for a leading business in the construction industry.

This role will lead a team of managers across commercial functions and work closely with senior executives to develop a comprehensive business strategy.

  • Create a specification-based sales approach to provide clarity of specification to customers.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of targets for products across all depots and product categories.
  • Coach, lead, develop and motivate the team to ensure performance and order values are maximised.
  • Provide clear direction to marketing and business development functions.
  • Monitor overall performance excellence and identify areas requiring increased support and guidance.

Requirements include experience in commercial management, leadership, team development and motivation, as well as extensive experience in specification/technical selling into the construction industry or related industries. A degree or similar level qualification is also required.
