Senior BIM Engineer

Developing and delivering successful digital construction projects requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen and collaboration. As a Senior BIM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our digital project delivery strategy and contributing to the development of our multi-disciplinary BIM standards.

Duties:
  • Implement and manage a successful BIM process from pre-contract to project delivery and handover, ensuring seamless integration with our existing workflows.
  • Support our pre-construction team by reviewing received tender documents to identify client BIM and digital requirements, and providing expert advice on how to meet them.
  • Provide technical review of 3D BIM models for federation, engineering checks, detection, logistics and cost management, utilizing your knowledge of Navisworks and other rendering software packages.
  • Work closely with our production team to develop and deliver BEPs, MIDPs and MPDTs, ensuring that all stakeholders are fully aware of their responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with our planning team to develop, coordinate and deliver 4D BIM models, enhancing our understanding of project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Develop and coordinate visualizations and interactive 3D models to communicate complex design concepts and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Lead DPD kick-off meetings with project teams to review and finalize DPD strategies, driving alignment and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A degree qualification in construction, computing or a related discipline, demonstrating a strong foundation in relevant principles and practices.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful BIM projects and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in Navisworks, Lumion and other rendering software packages, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • An exceptional team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
