The team's primary focus lies in full product lifecycle management, encompassing idea generation, design, development, monitoring, reshaping, and retirement. Additionally, they define product concepts, unique selling points, and range analysis, collaborating with colleagues from various departments to deliver an innovative client-centric product suite.

As a key member of our Product Development team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing existing product ranges to meet client needs, align with distribution priorities, and remain competitive. You will have the opportunity to contribute to product innovation projects that shape the future of our business.

This position requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as excellent analytical and communication abilities. You will work closely with colleagues in Product Implementation and other cross-functional teams to ensure new and existing products are delivered and managed effectively.

About The Role

This is a 12-month fixed term contract, offering a unique opportunity to drive forward-thinking initiatives and collaborate with experienced professionals in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead initiatives for new product development and enhancement of existing product ranges.
- Contribute to product innovation, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the table.
- Prepare documentation such as product specifications, proposals, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to analyze industry trends and identify new opportunities.
- Support product line management, including fund launches, reshapes, mergers, and closures.
- Work on strategic projects that span multiple business areas.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the product line-up across different client segments.

Skills & Experience

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in product development, product management, or a similar role.
- Strong interest in finance, investment products, and asset management.
- Proven track record of driving product innovation and delivering successful outcomes.
- Analytical thinker with a creative and flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player with the confidence to work independently when required.
- Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
