Job Title: Senior Investment Research Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our investment research team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing and maintaining a portfolio of funds used to support the creation of diversified investment portfolios.

The role involves working closely with portfolio managers to identify the best fund ideas according to our investment process, with the objective of delivering strong performance for clients and helping products rank well within their peer groups.

We are looking for someone with experience in investment research across multiple asset classes, focusing on equity and/or fixed income research.

  • Responsible for the identification and selection of equity and/or fixed income managers for addition to the portfolio.
  • Responsible for supervising selected strategies on the portfolio and recommending removal according to our monitoring process.
  • Engage and work alongside portfolio managers in the ongoing monitoring of existing and prospective fund investments.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the investment selection and monitoring process, especially with quantitative techniques to enhance efficiency and focus.

Key Skills:

  • A strong interest in investment markets
  • Proactive approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, and Style Analytics is advantageous

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in the investment industry
  • Relevant third-level qualification
  • CFA qualification or equivalent
