Maintenance Supervisor

Effective management is crucial for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment, particularly when it comes to maintenance tasks. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance manager and coordinating various activities.

The role involves providing technical support for production lines and their supporting processes, which requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, including electro/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems and facilities maintenance.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical faults using multi-meter readings and mechanical schematic drawings, as well as performing repairs on a wide range of equipment and processes, including high-speed packing, automation, and other machinery.

A successful candidate will possess excellent mechanical skills, have the ability to work independently, and demonstrate strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a food-manufacturing environment is desirable.

In addition to your technical expertise, we are looking for someone who is highly motivated, able to work effectively with suppliers and service engineers, and possesses excellent communication skills.

As part of this role, you will also be expected to ensure that production downtime is kept to a minimum, using available materials and resources efficiently.
