Engineering Planner Role OverviewJob Description:

We are seeking an Engineering Planner to join our team for a large-scale new facility project in Dublin. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to learn new technology and develop current skills within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety in work planning, identifying risks associated with tasks and implementing mitigations as required.
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance/calibration plans and schedule activities through our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Daily scheduling and assignment of activities aligned with the overall manufacturing schedule and priorities, focusing on a right-first-time mindset.
  • Collaborate closely with the Reliability team, including technicians and engineers, to develop planning strategies for optimal use of downtime windows and resources.
  • Creation of reporting tools through CMMS and other analytical software to demonstrate planning performance.
  • Develop and publish Team metrics/KPIs using data analysis reports and monthly management reports to showcase team performance and continuous improvements.
  • Ensure all vendor service-level agreements (SLAs) are up-to-date and coordinate with functional groups to ensure resource availability for activities.
  • Participate in site planning meetings for alignment of schedules with cross-functional groups and report back as required.
  • Evaluate correct permits for activities and external contractors.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 7 engineering-related qualification; Level 8 is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in similar industries with some exposure to maintenance/engineering planning and lockout/tagout (LOTO).
  • CMMS experience in Maximo, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Spotfire an advantage.
  • Proficiency in standard software applications, including MS Excel and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work remotely when required.
