Job Title: Insurance Business Development Specialist

 

The Insurance Business Development team is looking for a skilled professional to join their ranks. As an Insurance Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's insurance business, ensuring that all aspects of the operation are running smoothly and efficiently.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and implementation of new insurance business strategies, in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Negotiate with brokers and other external partners to secure new business deals and maintain existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination across the organization.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation and learning from failure.

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience and qualifications, such as CIP or ACII.
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
