Senior Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Site Engineer to lead our team in the delivery of large scale residential development projects in Meath.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving towards an embedded Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture and will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of the project.

Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project is essential.

The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for checking plans, drawings and supervision of setting out coordination.

You will oversee the overall surveying of sites, plan work efficiently ensuring strict deadlines are met and be responsible for overseeing quality control and safety measures on sites.

The Engineer will resolve unexpected technical difficulties and deal with any problems which arise.

You will possess the ability to communicate clearly to all stakeholders.

Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations is key to this role.

Attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress is crucial.

Quality management and BCAR co-ordination are also key responsibilities.

A strong communicator, able to work to targets and deadlines, excellent interpersonal skills and a team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels are required.

Key requirements include an Engineer Degree, experience in Setting Out and Surveying, confident in supervising site works and the ability to handle technical queries when necessary.

This is a full-time permanent staff role with great career prospects.
