Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team as a key member. As a leading expert in quality assurance, you will be responsible for designing and creating test plans and test scenarios.Your primary responsibilities include:
  • Working within a cross-functional team to understand the product solution
  • Designing and creating test plans and test scenarios
  • Designing and documenting test cases and test data for use during testing
  • Executing manual and automated tests (functional, regression, and backward compatibility testing)
  • Managing and coordinating all testing activities on assigned projects/agile squad
  • Attending the Squad Leaders Release review calls and highlighting any issues/blockers/risks from a QA perspective
  • Working with the test automation team to build automated test cases
  • Creating and tracking issue reports raised as a result of testing
  • Impact analysis of issue resolution and re-testing of fixes
  • Regularly reporting test results based on agreed milestones
  • Dealing with customer support cases and building into test cases for future releases
  • Providing feedback to developers and product managers around UX-based testing outcomes
  • Providing feedback to the QA team on optimization of test methods
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of QA experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with automation (Selenium) is desirable
  • Proficient in creating test cases and identifying test scenarios
  • Solid understanding of test planning, test management, and test execution
  • Sound knowledge of the bug life cycle, defect management, defect tracking, and defect summarization reports
  • Expertise in functional, regression, compatibility, and cross-browser testing
  • Experience with bug tracking and management tools, such as DevOps
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to work as part of a team
