Project Estimation Specialist

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with bid teams, colleagues in estimating and wider pre-construction teams to ensure accurate project deliverables.
- Deliver cost estimates at various project stages including multiple iterations of budgets and target prices through effective management and coordination.
- Contribute to optioneering, feasibility assessments and value engineering proposals to add value to projects.
- Liaise with clients, designers, consultants, quantity surveyors and subcontractors to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Organise and administer tender documents, correspondence, enquiries and quotations ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
- Challenge and contribute to all aspects of bid preparation and submission.
- A Honours Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Civil engineering project experience in management, engineering or commercial roles.
- Proven estimating experience in civil engineering bids across sectors such as roads, bridges, rail, marine and water.
- A strong understanding of common contracts and measurement methods in Ireland.
- Experience with Candy Estimating software preferred but not essential.
