Our Leisure Destination is seeking a skilled Reservations Agent to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and driven individual to manage the Resort Reservations mailbox, liaise directly with hotel reservation enquiries, and ensure every effort is made to confirm leisure and dining requirements when guests make reservations.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the Resort Reservations mailbox.
- Have full knowledge of the Resort Rate Structure, including various packages on offer.
- Liaise directly with all hotel reservation enquiries, from quotation to confirmation to arrival.
- Ensure every effort is made to confirm leisure and dining, transport requirements when guests make reservations and again prior to their arrival.
- Enter all reservations correctly into the system.
- Book room, dining, SAP, golf, leisure, and transport for guests.
- Deal with Tour Operators regarding bookings made and pre-payment required.
- Complete weekly reports as required (e.g., arrival report, VIP report).
- Be highly motivated and driven to achieve targets.
- Have excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have fluency in English, both oral and written.
- Be flexible in working hours.
- Knowledge of Opera is desirable.
