Arrears Recovery Manager Role Overview

The role of an Arrears Recovery Manager is a crucial one in managing relationships with borrowers who are experiencing difficulties in making their loan payments. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with customers, understand their financial situations, and find solutions to their arrear's situation.

This job involves managing a portfolio of borrower accounts, identifying those in difficulty, establishing the reasons for their arrears, and working with them to find a resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving business targets while ensuring that their role is performed in accordance with controlled policies and procedures, providing exceptional customer service, and minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To generate revenue from a portfolio of accounts in line with monthly targets
  • To communicate with customers in a clear and concise manner
  • To meet with Borrowers as required
  • To adhere to service plan including rotas and call targets
  • To record expressions of dissatisfaction and customer complaints on the relevant customer complaints system

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent (Essential)
  • Accredited Product Adviser (Desirable)
  • Qualified Financial Adviser (Desirable)
