Our organization is seeking a Tax Director to join their Tax Policy Group in Dublin/Hybrid. The Policy Team operates in a fast-paced environment, staying abreast of changes in the international tax landscape.

The team focuses on local and international tax policy developments, including Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 rules, as well as EU and domestic reforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deepening familiarity with new legislation and tax policy, including Pillar 2 rules.
  • Partnering with client teams to ensure our clients are aware of key developments and their impact on their business.
  • Reviewing and disseminating material relating to key policy developments.
  • Preparing concise summaries of complex legislation.
  • Leading training sessions for colleagues and clients on policy developments.
  • Drafting responses to governmental requests for feedback on legislation.
  • Developing responses to various tax policy initiatives of the OECD, EU, Department of Finance, and Revenue Commissioners.
  • Coaching team members and driving the team to deliver results in a responsible and passionate manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in international tax consulting.
  • Policy experience or significant exposure to Pillar 2.
  • Big 4/Revenue/OECD or other relevant experience.
  • Strong academic record with a degree from any discipline and AITI/CTA qualification or equivalent overseas qualification.
  • Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behavior to build quality relationships.
  • Creative - ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.
  • Ambitious – strong commitment to personal learning and development.
