
Electronics Engineer Position Available

Title: Research and Development Expert Overview The role involves working under day-to-day instruction and collaborating with senior engineers. Responsibilities include performing simulations, creating technical documentation (application notes & conference papers), designing and testing electronic components and systems to identify potential issues and implement timely adjustments.
- Design custom magnetics (inductors, transformers, EMI chokes)
- Publish engineering specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on customer-specific design projects; summarize calculations and simulations in PowerPoint presentations and present via Microsoft Teams
- Work with design engineers in other locations to release new products
- Contribute to the development of product requirements
- Develop and publish technical papers in journals, magazines and online platforms
Main Working Relationships:
- Engineering, Marketing and Laboratory Technicians
- Sales Force and FAE's
- PLM and GM
- Global Production Sites
Interpersonal Skills:
- Must possess effective communication, presentation and recommendation skills.
- Success comes from developing strong relationships with the engineering group both internally and with customers.
Communications:
- Oral: Excellent English required to communicate instructions and present ideas, concepts and solutions to all levels of employees and customers.
- Written: Excellent written skills in English to issue instructions and present ideas, concepts, and solutions to all levels of employees and customers via letters, memos, graphs, charts, etc.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Report on project progress
Essential Requirements:
- Education: A master's degree or PhD in electronics is preferred.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in power electronics (industry or academia).
- Proficient in electronic design software such as Altium or similar.
- Experience with ANSYS Maxwell.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and systems.
- Familiarity with standard electronic lab equipment.
