An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced electronics engineer to work on electronic product testing. This is a permanent role with a standard Monday to Friday working week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The electronics engineer will use schematics, layout drawings and assembly procedures to set up and test electronic products.
  • The electronics engineer will operate a variety of test equipment such as Digital Multi-Meters, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Environmental Chambers and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components and circuitry, including analogue, digital and power circuits, is required to test and debug a range of Electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems.
  • The electronics engineer will be responsible for the test and debugging of electronic motor controllers according to established procedures.
  • Failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and systems will be carried out by the electronics engineer, with feedback provided to support teams for process improvements.
  • Collaboration with production and engineering teams is essential to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum Level 6 qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in an ISO9001 regulated environment.
  • Experience and/or qualifications in Lean are advantageous.
